The Mercedes-Benz X-Class 6x6

The Mercedes-Benz X-Class 6x6 is a six-wheeled pickup truck that was never officially produced by Mercedes-Benz. However, there have been a few custom-built examples, most notably by Polish tuner Carlex Design. These vehicles are based on the standard X-Class, but they have been extensively modified with a third axle, larger wheels, and a lifted suspension. The result is a massive and imposing truck that is sure to turn heads.

Here are some of the key features of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class 6x6:

  • Six-wheel drive for improved off-road capability
  • Enlarged wheel arches to accommodate larger tires
  • Raised suspension for increased ground clearance
  • Custom roll cage for added protection
  • Mercedes-Benz GTR grille for a sporty appearance
  • Carbon fiber body panels for a lightweight and luxurious feel

The Mercedes-Benz X-Class 6x6 is a one-of-a-kind vehicle that is sure to appeal to collectors and enthusiasts. However, its high price tag and limited availability make it a rare and exclusive offering.

The X-Class was designed to be both stylish and functional. It had a bold and aggressive front end with a large grille and LED headlights. The sides of the truck were clean and uncluttered, and the rear end had a distinctive design with a high-mounted taillights. The interior of the X-Class was luxurious and comfortable. It had high-quality materials and finishes, and it was equipped with a number of Mercedes-Benz's latest technology features, including a touchscreen infotainment system and a head-up display.

Engine and Performance

The X-Class was available with a variety of engines, including a 2.3-liter four-cylinder diesel engine, a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine, and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine. The most powerful engine was the V6 diesel, which produced 258 horsepower and 403 lb-ft of torque. The X-Class was also available with a choice of two transmissions, a six-speed manual transmission and a seven-speed automatic transmission.

The X-Class came standard with a number of features, including a rearview camera, a lane departure warning system, and a blind spot monitoring system. It was also available with a number of optional features, including a 360-degree camera system, a parking assist system, and a trailer hitch.

The X-Class was produced at the Nissan factory in Barcelona, Spain. Production began in 2017 and ended in 2020. The X-Class was never sold in the United States, but it was available in a number of other markets around the world, including Europe, Latin America, and Africa.

The Mercedes-Benz X-Class was a unique and impressive pickup truck. It combined the luxury and refinement of a Mercedes-Benz with the practicality and versatility of a pickup truck. Unfortunately, the X-Class was not a commercial success, and it was discontinued after just three years of production. However, it remains a fascinating and sought-after vehicle among pickup truck enthusiasts.
